Workplace Issues

There are various difficulties a person may face at work. Maybe you have a hard time saying 'no' and take on more than you should. For many, their job doesn't stop at the office; they take work home with them. Maybe you have lost interest in your job, but you have been promoted to a position where it would be hard to find a job that offers a comparable income. You feel stuck because you no longer want to work there but you need the money, the seniority, benefits or the retirement package.
Maybe your problems relate to harassment. Experiences of workplace or occupational harassment can have a significant psychological impact, particularly when they involve ongoing exposure, power imbalances, or threats to employment or professional identity. Some organizations, including some first-responder agencies, have a reputation for "eating their own." Clients often present with heightened stress, anxiety, anger, or self-doubt, alongside difficulty returning to a sense of safety at work. Maybe the issue isn't harassment but rather your work-life balance.
